The Quezon City Public Library is hosting free film screenings this Pride Month

Calling all cinephiles and allies and members of the LGBTQIA+ community! The Quezon City Public Library (QCPL) is opening its doors and inviting you all to its film viewings this Pride Month.
In order to celebrate Pride Month this year, the QCPL and Gender and Development department planned out various activities under the theme Equality For All to “highlight the unique contributions and lived experiences of the members of the LGBTQIA+ community.”
One of their activities is a free film screening event every Friday of the month of June. Guests can get to watch films such as Love, Simon, Everything Everywhere All At Once, All My Life, Bekikang, Perks of Being a Wallflower, Boys in the Band, Eternals, and Imitation Game.
The film screening event is from June 9, 2023 to June 30, 2023, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Conference Room at QCPL. Check out the respective schedules below.
June 09, 2023: Love, Simon and Everything Everywhere All At Once.
June 16, 2023: All My Life and Bekikang
June 23, 2023: Perks of Being A Wall Flower and Boys In the Band
June 30, 2023: Eternals and Imitation Game
If you're an avid film enthusiast, you can also opt to watch all of the films but each film screening schedule is open to 50 slots only. Upon entry, one must present their confirmation for the reservation.
How to join and reserve a slot? Check out QCPL's Facebook page.
As we champion inclusivity this Pride Month, the QCPL-GAD is making strides to give equal opportunities to those who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community and provide them with the safe space they deserve.
IF YOU'D RATHER OPT TO BE ALONE YET STILL CELEBRATE PRIDE MONTH, THESE FILMS AND SERIES MIGHT JUST DO THE TRICK.
